Al-Ittihad striker Karim Benzema is attempting to engineer a return to Real Madrid.
That's according to Okdiario's chief pundit Eduardo Inda, when speaking on El Chiringuito.
Inda stated: "They tell me that Benzema continues to be offered to Real Madrid. He is not happy and has a hard time collecting the brutal salary he has agreed on in Saudi Arabia.
"Less Madrid. There is no clear nine at the moment, although (Jude) Bellingham scores many goals. He is unhappy there. He earns much more than what he earned in the Madrid, but has trouble being motivated."
Benzema and his agents are today locked in talks with Al-Ittihad about his situation. If he must leave, Al-Ittihad would prefer he moved within the SPL on-loan, while Benzema favours a return to Europe.
