Arsenal have reached terms with Ajax for Jurrien Timber.
After having an offer of £30m for Timber rejected last week, Arsenal have now been successful with a £40m bid, says The Sun.
Timber has already agreed personal terms and made it clear he wishes to move to Arsenal this summer.
Bayern Munich had also expressed interest, but pulled out after being informed of the player's preference.
Timber's arrival will mean Arsenal have spent £210m in less than week after a £;65m deal for Kai Havertz (Chelsea) and agreement over a £105m fee for Declan Rice (West Ham).
