Ajax coach John van 't Schip has revealed Jordan Henderson was injured in England training this week.

The former Liverpool captain broke down before the draw with Belgium.

Van 't Schip said: "He has had a setback. It's something new. He suffered a relapse the day before the last international match.

"In consultation with the medical staff, we have chosen for him to recover in England this week. He will not be in the next three matches."

Jordan Henderson thus misses the matches against PEC Zwolle, Go Ahead Eagles and Feyenoord.
