Al-Ettifaq coach Steven Gerrard admits they'll be busy in the January market.

The Liverpool great says he has money to spend in the New Year to further improve his squad.

Jordan Henderson, Moussa Dembele and Demeray Gray all followed Gerrard to Al-Ettifaq over summer.

"I can assure our fans that we will search Europe for more opportunities," said Gerrard.

"But it is also important that we look locally to improve this squad so that it becomes more competitive."
