Alaves coach Luis Garcia Plaza admits Mario Budimir was the difference against Osasuna last night.
Budimir struck the only goal of the night as Osasuna won 1-0.
Garcia later said: "It was a very even match. Our first phase of 20 minutes in which we were quite good, and in the second half it was even. In these matches individual quality decides the match, and Budimir did it. For me it should have been a draw.
"In each set piece we have suffered a lot, we have brought in Kike to equalize the duels. The team has adjusted better to Osasuna's direct play but the individual quality has resolved the game. I didn't like Álex and that's why I removed him.
"We ended up with two forwards... It's not easy, we focused badly, we had offensive presence and we lacked success. We have to keep fighting, we have to keep working, and Sunday's game against Rayo is a very important game."
