Alexandre Pato admits he regrets his past move to Chelsea.

The striker spent six months on-loan at Chelsea from Corinthians.

He wrote for the Players' Tribune: “I thought that Chelsea would loan me for six months and then sign for three years. I didn't realise that after the loan they could say no.

“Do you know why I played much better in Sao Paulo? They took good care of me.

"It was a shame because I was training very well and the coach only played me twice. I never understood why.

“If I had known? I would have gone elsewhere."

Now 33, Pato is playing with Orlando City in MLS.
