Anderson has recalled playing alongside Cristiano Ronaldo at Manchester United.
The Brazilian midfielder won the Champions League as a United player.
He recalled to Globo Esporte: "When I arrived in Manchester I went to Cristiano's house. I'm very grateful to him because he practically adopted me. Nani and I lived with him for almost a year; we only left because we wanted to, if it had been up to him we would have stayed there.
"We didn't spend anything, sometimes we went shopping... But Cristiano took us to training, he gave us to eat, he had a chef who cooked for us, there was a swimming pool inside and outside the house, a Jacuzzi, a tennis court...
"Practice was at 9:30, but sometimes we had to leave the house at 6:30 because he wanted to get there early. Nani and I slept on the cots: he started work first while we waited for the rest of the team. If I had 5% of Cristiano's mentality, I would have been among the 20 best midfielders at the time. Unfortunately the Brazilian side prevailed... I thought I had already won everything and I didn't want more."
