Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone was a happy after victory over Real Mallorca.
Rodrigo Riquelme struck the winner for the visitors.
Simeone said, "The team interpreted the plan very well, the commitment was incredible from Correa to Oblak to play an intelligent game from a defensive point of view, thank you to a team that is very committed to the counterattack, in the aerial game and in the areas.
"We ended up managing them. In the second half we had Marcos' play, they had some but the collective teamwork was very good.
"I don't think systems generate better solutions, but commitment, effort from the first to the last does, and so any system can be very good.
"It was similar to the Villarreal game, we started very well too. Against Alavés we couldn't. Today we recovered our strength, after Correa's first with a nice goal from Riquelme, who had a great game."
