Barcelona great Andres Iniesta has announced he's planning to plang on next season.

The 39 year-old has just left Japan's Vissel Kobe and has held talks with Argentinos Juniors.

At Argentinos Juniors he will find former Barca teammate Gabi Milito, who is their sporting director.

The 2010 World Cup winning goal scorer said: "The last few months have been a really tough period both for me and those close to me.

"I have the desire to retire and close my career while playing on the pitch, and I'm taking my next step in accordance with that emotion."
