Barcelona legend Andres Iniesta admits he sees a lot himself in Pedri.

Now playing in Japan with Vissel Kobe, Iniesta is back in Barcelona this week.

Asked about Pedri, the midfielder told Sport: "That will always exist, the comparisons and others will be there. We cannot go out and say that nobody talks about this, it is impossible. When I went up to the first team there were also comparisons.

"The important thing is that he does what he is doing and that pressure that is outside leads him to a thousand wonders. When you watch him play you really see that he enjoys playing football. What is around exists, but what is in the field is what will mark where you arrive.

"There are things in which we are similar. We play in the same position, some gestures or ways of moving. In the end, this is a lot like when I had my references. If you look at them a lot and want to look like them, memory tries to 'imitate' or do things that you see. We sure have something in common."
