Fulham defender Calvin Bassey says the players are excited about the future under manager Marco Silva.

Bassey was speaking after their 0-0 draw against Brentford.

He said, "The disruption [of injuries] didn't help at times but we've all stayed focused and trusted the manager and the plan.

"What he's been building has been amazing so we're looking forward to the future.

"It's important we bring those principles and carry on what the manager has built here."
