Bayern Munich have made contact with the agent of Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag.

Sky Deutchsland reports that Bayern have contacted Ten Hag's agent Kees Vos about whether the Dutchman is open to the possibility of replacing Thomas Tuchel.

No formal negotiations have yet begun and Bayern Munich have not spoken directly to Ten Hag either.

The 54-year-old's hope is to stay and complete his contract with Manchester United.

However, if United decide to release Ten Hag this summer, he would be ready to take over Bayern Munich.

But two more unnamed clubs have reportedly contacted Ten Hag's agent to register their interest.

Ten Hag has a past at Bayern Munich where he coached the reserve team, and he has a good reputation within the club management.
