Former Inter Milan coach Rafa Benitez believes they're capable of competing for the Champions League next season.

Benitez is impressed by the new champions.

He told La Gazzetta dello Sport: “I think everyone agrees they are the best in Serie A. They deserved to win the title, and it's always a great feat, even when you have the best team.

“In that case, it's an even bigger feat because you must accomplish it.

“There is a gap, but it's not so big. Inter can face any opponent on par.

“Man City and Real Madrid have accumulated a certain amount of experience which, at this moment, makes the difference when you compete at the highest levels, but Inzaghi's team can reach them."
