Juventus hero Alen Boksic is urging the club to move for Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric.
Modric is off contract at the end of the season.
“Modric is kissed by God, he is football," Boksic told Gazzetta.
“I'd tell any top club to sign him, including Juventus. I don't know if he'll leave Real Madrid, but I am convinced he has two years of high-level football in his legs. Modric alone would not be enough to close the gap with Inter, who won the title with merit, but he'd surely help."
On Juve reaching the Coppa Italia final, Boksic added: “I am happy for Juventus, but I am sorry for Lazio and my friend Igor Tudor, who I will meet on Saturday at the Olimpico for a game against Hellas Verona.
“You expect Juventus to fight for the title until the end of every season, but the race ended in February this year after the game with Inter. From that moment, Juventus were not up to the task too often."
