Former Chelsea and Atletico Madrid striker Diego Costa has enjoyed a spectacular start with Gremio.

Costa was signed to replace fellow veteran Luis Suarez, who left last year for Inter Miami.

His beginning has been superb: In four matches in all competitions, the Brazilian, also a Spain international (24 caps, 10 goals) has scored 5 times, all in just 291 minutes.

“If I score more goals than Suárez, they (the leaders) will have to pay more (laughs)!" joked Costa.

Interestingly played with Suarez at Atletico.
