Leicester City midfielder Kasey McAteer has joined AFC Wimbledon on loan until the end of the season.

A versatile 21-year-old who made his Premier League debut last season, McAteer has been with the Foxes' academy since the age of eight.

He has made four appearances for the East Midlands outfit and most recently spent time on loan with Forest Green Rovers as they went on to win the Sky Bet League Two title.

Comfortable playing wide or in a central position, the addition of McAteer adds further depth to our midfield options.
