Former Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti is delighted for the club after they were confirmed champions this week.
With victory over AC Milan, Inter have been crowned 2023/24 Serie A winners.
Moratti told Sky Italia: "Reliving that enthusiasm that I experienced in the past was wonderful. The satisfaction of last night was complete, not only for having won the second star but for having done it in a derby away from home.
Asked if he'd heard from Inter president Steven Zhang, Moratti continued: "Yes, I received a phone call from him complimenting me, a bit exaggerated. He was very kind, I was the one who complimented him on everything he did.
"I don't want to be a protagonist again. I hope to relive the same pleasures, I hope so, even if in different roles. I love the team and the Inter fans."
Asked if he'd from Jose Mourinho, Moratti added: "No, not lately. We exchanged a text message and I'm sorry for what happened to him in Rome. However, he has the qualities to still be able to do well elsewhere."
