Independiente coach Carlos Tevez has been rushed to local hospital suffering "chest pains".
The former Manchester United, Manchester City and Juventus star suffered some chest pains and, after requesting medical assistance, was transported to a clinic in San Isidro, a neighborhood of Buenos Aires, where he spent the night.
Tevez will remain there until he has carried out all the necessary investigations. Tevez was also due for a check-up after falling at home and hitting his head in a previous incident.
Independiente said in a statement: "Our coach, Carlos Tevez, is at the La Trinidad hospital in San Isidro due to chest pains. He underwent tests and they were satisfactory.
"Tomorrow we will continue with a series of tests previously scheduled as part of the general check-up that is usually carried out."
