PAOK defender William Troost-Ekong says he knows the next club of Napoli striker Victor Osimhen.

Troost-Ekong is Osimhen's Nigeria captain and was named Player of the Tournament at AFCON.

Speaking with Sky Italia, the former Udinese defender recalled his time at Tottenham as a junior player with Harry Kane.

He said: "We started together 14 years ago and after training he always stayed on the pitch to try something else: shots, penalties, worked with the goalkeepers.

"He always wanted to grow and this ultimately led him to reach the top of the top. He is an example of the desire to improve and work harder."

Asked about Osimhen's future, Troost-Ekong laughed: "I really can't tell you anything, but I know!"
