Fiorentina coach Vincenzo Italiano says their 3-2 defeat at Lecce wasn't good enough.

Lecce stunned the Viola with Patrick Dorgu scoring an injury-time winner for the hosts.

Afterwards, a frustrated Italiano said: "As I told the boys, these are points that are missing and that will never come back.

"In 2024 we didn't start well, some matches went badly and we also add this final against Lecce.

"We must try to do a little more to collect points."
