Former Italy captain Fabio Cannavaro admits he wants to coach Napoli.

And the former Chinese Premier League coach is determined to make it happen.

He told Radio Serie A: "It's just a question of time, I know that if I start I will definitely be given the opportunity to do this job. Napoli is a team that everyone would like to coach for free, it has superior technical quality to other teams.

"I have always said that the Napoli bench is an objective.

"This year it was more an idea from the media than from the club, but I continue on my own path: no one has ever given me anything, I have a hard head and I have always sweated out what I had.

"I still feel the fire inside, that is the desire that makes me feel calm: we wait."
