Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba is staring at the prospect of a four-year doping ban.
Pogba tested positive for doping in September.
Just over a month later, his b-test showed a positive result and Pogba has since been awaiting his sentence.
Now several Italian media sources are reporting that Pogba will be suspended for four years from all of football. This is the maximum penalty for doping.
The former Manchester United midfielder has always claimed that he ingested the illegal substances unknowingly. An appeal from Pogba's camp is expected to be immediately lodged.
Pogba has scored 34 goals and 41 assists in a total of 190 competitive matches for Juventus.
