Lazio midfielder Matteo Guendouzi won't rule out a return to Olympique Marseille.
Guendouzi is in his second season with Lazio after leaving OM.
He told Canal+: "I have no regrets. I went to Marseille for the club's project. It was very interesting for me. It made me grow as a player and as a man. From my second season and the beginning of the third, everything started to change.
"When a new coach comes, there is also a different style of play. This is good for some players, but not for others. I don't blame anyone. I'm very happy with what I did in Marseille. I would have liked to bring home a trophy, it was something that was close to my heart and unfortunately we didn't manage to do it.
"I have only positive memories of OM. Obviously everyone knows that I am in love with this club and its fans, so I will remain a Marseille native for life, that's for sure."
Asked about returning, Guendouzi said: "It's a good question. Today I feel very happy at Lazio. It's a great Italian club, we're in the round of 16 of the Champions League (against Bayern Munich). I work with a great coach, I'm starter, everything is going well for me and I'm satisfied where I am.
"But everyone knows the attachment I have for OM, for the fans, for the city... I fell in love at first sight with this club, so obviously iIt's something that could happen in the future. We'll see, I'm not worried."
