Former Napoli captain Marek Hamsik expects the club to buy big this summer.
Last season's champions have fallen well short of expectations this term.
Hamsik, who almost joined the staff of caretaker coach Francesco Calzona, told Sportitalia: "We have all seen that they have struggled this year.
"The change of the three coaches during the season means that things are not going as they should and the club has understood this.
"I am convinced, for this reason, that they will do everything possible to do well next year, even making some purchases on the market. Especially because one of the pillars will go away, like (Piotr) Zielinski."
