Former Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson was visiting his old team over the weekend.

The Ajax midfielder signed for the Dutch giants from Saudi Arabian club Al-Ettifaq on a free transfer in the winter.

Per The Mail, Henderson was seen at the club's training ground going through an intense fitness session.

There were several youngsters at the ground from the Reds' youth team and from an Irish team.

They were all delighted to see Henderson, who won nearly every major trophy as Reds captain.
