Real Madrid have informed Luka Modric he won't be offered a new contract.
With his current deal to expire in June, it leaves the veteran midfielder needing to find himself a new club for next season.
Cadena SER says Modric has known for some time he was on the way out as the minutes he is playing this season are mainly as a result of the injuries suffered by players such as Eduardo Camavinga and Aurelien Tchoauméni.
Modric has not even warmed up in the last two league games, against Almería and UD Las Palmas.
Real coach Carlo Ancelotti justified his decision because "he is a legend and I will not make him warm up if he is not going to go out, I can do this with Arda Güler, but not with him".
