Juventus powerbroker John Elkann admits it's tough seeing Paul Pogba being on the brink of a drugs ban.

The Juve midfielder is facing a four-year suspension after the counter-analysis of his failed doping test confirmed the original results.

Pogba is now facing a hearing over the length of his ban.

Elkann said: “Humanly, I am sorry, he's been one of the biggest potential talents over the last few years."

He also stated: “The work we are making and its solidity allows Juventus to project the future on and off the pitch.

“What we know is that if one is strong off the pitch, then it becomes stronger on the pitch too."
