Liverpool intend to send Calvin Ramsay away on-loan next season.
The summer signing from Aberdeen has been plagued by injury throughout the season.
This campaign was ended prematurely due to a knee injury suffered by the fullback.
The Sun says Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is now planning to send Ramsay away on-loan next season in order to accelerate his development.
When speaking about the teenager in February, Klopp said: "We cannot play catch-up all the time with him because he is a great talent, a real talent, who had the most unlucky start possible.
The Scottish right-back, 19, joined the Reds in a £6.5million move, but has managed just two senior appearances.
