Liverpool defender Ibrahima Konate hopes to face Marseille in the Europa League semifinals.

The Reds meet Atalanta in the quarterfinals, while Marseille meet Benfica.

Konate told France Info: “I want to play against Marseille. We already played against a French team, this year, with Toulouse and, at the time, I was surprised by the support, my colleagues thought I had already played there.

"At the Vélodrome [Marseille stadium] they won't be as hospitable, but it's nothing serious.

"I played there when I was at Leipzig and it was a magnificent atmosphere, I want to do it again."
