The midfielder, 21, spent last season on-loan with Aberdeen.

Clarkson, 21, contributed 15 goals and assists across the season as the Dons qualified for Europa League.

With little chance of first team football at Anfield, Liverpool are transfer-listing the midfielder.

Aberdeen are keen, though they will face competition from the English Championship.
