Lucas Beltran was full of pride after his decisive goal for Fiorentina at Club Brugge.
Beltran's successful penalty saw the Viola draw 1-1 last night as they reached the Europa Conference League final 4-3 on aggregate.
The Argentine said: "An incredible happiness, we wanted to come here to go back to playing a final for Fiorentina, it was the big goal. We're happy, it was a great job: we conceded the goal but we dominated almost the rest of the match.
"There were some fundamental changes on the coach's part because we were disorganised when pressing. It was essential to give order, for me it was a key moment to calm us down. In the end we got many opportunities and the most important thing is that we are qualified for the final."
On the semifinal celebrations, he added: "Beautiful, all together even with the fans out there it was a great moment. And we hope that moments like this will be repeated in the history of Fiorentina. The fans always follow us and are at our side."
