Former Manchester City star Sergio Aguero was injured on his return to the field.
Aguero took part in a legends' match to mark the 120th anniversary of his boyhood club Independiente.
However, he took a nasty fall in the match that resulted in a dislocated shoulder.
The 35-year-old had last played in 2021 when he had to retire from the game due to heart issues.
However, Aguero has been declared fit enough to play a part in matches, even if he can no longer play professionally.
The forward was not too upset with the injury, saying to a reporter during the game: "I think my shoulder came out."
