Manchester City are seeking to head off Saudi interest in Kevin de Bruyne.
The Mirror says City are ready to extend his contract.
The English giants primarily wants to offer a one-year extension, which means that the new contract would extend to the summer of 2026.
De Bruyne earns £375,000 a week at City - which, however, is nowhere near what he is reportedly being offered from Saudi Arabia.
A Saudi contract proposal is expected to be worth just over £1m-a-week.
Al-Hilal, Al Nassr, Al Ahli, Al-Ittihad and Al Qadsiah are all interested in the 32 year-old.
