Mark Bowen has been appointed as the new manager of AFC Wimbledon.

The League One side parted ways with Mark Robinson on Wednesday as they look to move up from 21st on the table.

"I am deeply honoured to have been offered this position," Bowen told the Dons website.

"I fully understand what's at stake and what needs to be done over the remaining seven games.

"Take my word for it, we will all be doing everything possible to keep this proud club in League One."
