Newcastle United have joined Tottenham interest in Al Ittihad striker Jota.

The former Celtic forward will leave Al Ittihad in January after not being registered for the Saudi Pro League.

Former Celtic star is wanted by Spurs where his former Hoops manager Ange Postecoglou is in charge.

However, Newcastle are also keen, says the Daily Record.

Al Ittihad will allow Jota to leave on-loan in January. The striker will leave with the SPL club having filled their allowed eight foreigner spots.
