Nottingham Forest have reportedly lost their appeal against the club's points penalty.
Forest were hit with a four points deduction for breaching the Premier League's Profit & Sustainability rules last month.
They immediately launched an appeal, but the Athletic says it has now been rejected.
It means Forest stay in the relegation battle - sitting 17th on the table with 29 points.
They are three points above Luton in 18th and five clear of Burnley in 19th, with just two games to go this season.
