Paolillo convinced Suning will sell Inter Milan

Former Inter Milan chief exec Ernesto Paolillo expects the club to be sold.

Owner Suning's loan from Oaktree is due to be repaid later this month.

Paolillo told TMW: "I have an idea from outside, from afar, it cannot be a precise snapshot of the situation. Seen like this, considering the level of debt, I am personally convinced that they are forced to sell."

Paolillo also spoke about the new control agency that the government wants to introduce in place of Covisoc.

"Absolutely agree. It is right that the controller does not depend on the controlled. The body must be external, without the influence of the club, the League, the Federation. Now they are fearing political interference in sport, but it depends how it is done, something autonomous can be created without it obeying and having direct influence from politics.

"It is one thing to say that politics chooses an entity, but they have also created Antitrust, Consob, Bank of Italy. These entities do not respond to the politics and this must also happen in football."
