Former Crystal Palace and Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew has managed to avoid relegation with ADO Den Haag.

On Friday it was confirmed there would be no promotion or relegation from the Dutch top-flight.

ADO Den Haag currently sit in the Eredivisie relegation zone along with RKC Waalwijk.

Dutch giants Ajax have been denied the Eredivisie title after it was confirmed there would be no 2019/20 league champions in the Netherlands.

Last season's Champions League semi-finalists lead the table on goal difference over AZ Alkmaar with nine league matches left to be played.

However, whilst some leagues have opted to cancel their leagues and freeze the league table, Ajax have been told they will not be crowned champions.
