Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino says the club's injury problems should be considered when discussing his position at the end of the season.

At some stages this term, Chelsea have been missing as many as 14 players due to injury.

The London Evening Standard says Pochettino's job remains in doubt and he is insisting their injury problems should be considered as a factor for their issues.

Pochettino's position could come under threat if Chelsea miss European qualification.

It's been accepted that the make-up of Chelsea's squad has meant they've been unable to play with the same intensity that Pochettino's Tottenham and Southampton teams had in the past.
