QPR attacker Ilias Chair says being part of Morocco's run to the World Cup semifinals was the highlight of his career.

However, the R's No10 also insists, after an initial re-adjustment, he's had little problem settling back into the week-in, week-out battle of the Championship.

On behalf of CopyBet, Chair told Tribalfootball.com: "I only could dream of playing in the World Cup and that's something that will always stay with me.

"It was an unforgettable experience and of course coming back to QPR was difficult because the euphoria was so high and then you come back to QPR and you basically are back to work. Back to the grind again. Which I love as well.

"I love working hard. I love working for this for this club. I love working for my teammates. So it was a smooth transition."

On Morocco's stunning campaign overall, Chair insists the players always believed they were capable of something special in Qatar.

He continued: "Around the squad you could sense we had to do something because why turn up if you don't have confidence that you can actually be world champion?

"For us it was very important that we all believed in the process, that we all believed in what we could achieve as a country and as a squad and we made it click."
