Real Betis defender Felix Garreta has been placed into an induced coma.

Garreta, a central defender on-loan with Amorebieta, is in a medically induced coma in the intensive care unit of a hospital in Barcelona.

The next few hours will be fundamental to learn more about his health conditions. According to what was reported by Cadena SER, the 20 year-old had a sudden dizziness and consequently hit his head in recent days.

The domestic accident occurred while he was in his house in Barcelona and the prognosis is still unknown.

Garreta was not taking part in his team's matches due to unspecified medical problems, but now the situation is very serious. Teammates were informed this morning of the delicate situation and all yesterday's activities were suspended.
