Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti concedes Luka Modric is unhappy about his situation.
The Ballon d'Or winner has started the season on Real Madrid's bench.
Ahead of the weekend clash with Celta Vigo, Ancelotti said: "It is an unusual situation for him. He is not playing regularly. He is not happy, but he is very well. He can play, we have no problem, he will contribute and he will.
"It is a particular situation. It will add up this season as it has in others."
On Gabri Veiga leaving Celta for Al-Ahli, Ancelotti added: "Football in Arabia offers more money than Europe. It is a reality. Everyone can do whatever they want. International soccer organisations have to evaluate this issue and make decisions to balance the market."
