Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has offered Luka Modric a place on his coaching staff.
According to local reporter Ramón Álvarez de Mon, Ancelotti wants Modric to begin a coaching career in Madrid.
He has suggested he start working on his staff for the '24/25 season if he decides to retire from football.
The midfielder values the offer, although he initially rejected it considering that he still wants to play on, whether at the Bernabéu or at a new destination.
Modric, 37, has stated this season: “My only condition for staying was that they treat me as a competitive player, as I have been until now, and not that they keep me in the squad based on past merits."
