Takefusa Kubo is happy with his new deal at Real Sociedad.
The Japan winger penned a new contract to 2029 last week.
Kubo said: "When there is a renewal it means that both parties are happy and in my case it is the same. I am very happy here and, for the moment, I think the club is also happy with me.
"It is true that people love me a lot, here especially, I don't know why, maybe because I am a good person. The clause? A contract is confidential, what I can tell you is that both parties are happy. I am happy and my family is very happy.
"Rumours? I don't look in the long term, I am happy here, I don't have to lose focus, we have soon two games that can change our lives."
Kubo was also asked about PSG striker Kylian Mbappe potentially joining Real Madrid.
He revealed: "When I spoke with him, I realised that he speaks Spanish very well, that he has improved, I think he will be preparing...".
