Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi admits PSG's early goal helped them to victory on Tuesday.
PSG won 2-1 to reach the Champions League quarterfinals 4-1 on aggregate.
Zubimendi later said: “It hit us hard when they scored in the first 15 minutes. It should have been the other way around. That was our plan; if we couldn't score then at least not concede. That goal changed our plans a lot and it was difficult for us to score our first goal, which came very, very late.
“I think that, in general, we have played a very, very good campaign. It will help us to grow a lot in terms of experience. Honestly, I think they have been better, I have no excuses.
"But I think that this experience will lead to positive things and learnings that will be useful to us."
