Chelsea's new director of global recruitment Sam Jewell is ready to get to work.
The 34-year-old had to sit on the sidelines for a few months after he left Brighton.
But The Standard states that his gardening leave has now concluded and he is free to work.
Jewell, the son of former Wigan and Bradford manager Paul Jewell, agreed on the deal in February.
Chelsea have recruited heavily from Brighton over the past two years, hiring since sacked manager Graham Potter and his coaching staff and many expensive players.
Moises Caicedo, Marc Cucurella and Robert Sanchez are among those who came from Brighton.
