Sevilla coach Jose Luis Mendilibar can see Sergio Ramos earning a Spain recall.
Mendilibar feels the 37 year-old's form warrants consideration for a La Roja recall.
He said, "I'm not going to get involved in another coach's job, I have enough here to tell De la Fuente who he should take.
"Sergio has been good with us and if he continues playing the way he plays, he may have the option to go, but I don't want to get involved in someone else's job."
He also said: "The games have been better than before the break. There was the problem of the market and the preseason, it was difficult for us to adapt. I hope it gets better after the next break.
"I think we have a very good squad that will give us a lot. With the number of games in such a short time there are going to be changes. The squad is quality."
