Summer signing Calvin Ramsay is thrilled to have come through a first training session at Liverpool.
Ramsay joined the Reds from Scottish Premiership side Aberdeen in the summer window. It was expected that he would fill the role of being Trent Alexander-Arnold's back-up and challenger for the right-back spot in Jurgen Klopp 's side.
But manager Klopp disclosed soon after his arrival on Merseyside that Liverpool's staff had discovered that Ramsay was carrying an injury during his medical. Having missed all of pre-season, the young Scotsman is now finally training with his new club.
Ramsay confirmed the news on social media, releasing a photo of himself in training. The 19-year-old captioned the image with a message that appeared to be hopeful of featuring soon: "Back in full training. One step closer!"
