Tottenham defenders Cristian Romero and Emerson Royal had a go at each other on Sunday.
The two stoppers were unable to put in adequate displays in the Premier League against Liverpool.
Spurs lost 4-2 at Anfield and were 4-0 down at one stage, with Romero and Royal having to be separated by keeper Guglielmo Vicario.
Sky Sports pundit Roy Keane stated: “I generally don't mind that kind of behavior, because it means you care about the game.
“But they should have that type of aggression in their defending and in their players. Spurs have been very, very poor.
“I don't mind that, but you got to bring that aggression to your general play, which we've not seen from Spurs."
