Valencia coach Ruben Baraja is delighted seeing Jaume Domènech sign a new deal.

The goalkeeper extended his stay with Los Che this week.

Baraja said ahead of their clash with Real Betis: “It is the reward for his hard work, for his career, for the fact that on a day-to-day basis he is a very competitive goalkeeper.

"He also contributes in terms of experience and what it means to convey the demands of playing for a club like Valencia CF. This is always positive; it is positive for Mamardashvili and for Rivero.
